Eggnog Breakfast Shake

The holidays are upon us - 'tis the season for some Egg Nog.  Yum! The sad reality is that 1 cup of eggnog has 344 calories!  That's 100 more calories than a Snickers Candy Bar! And neither option offers much nutritional value.

So I had an "aha" moment when I was mixing my Plexus 96 breakfast shake yesterday morning. Why not add some flavoring/seasoning to the blender and turn my vanilla shake into an EGGNOG SHAKE! Um yes. Do it now! And it is packed with good nutrition to start your day:

Eggnog Breakfast Shake

1 packet Plexus 96 Vanilla
1 cup Silk Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
1 cup ice (more or less for your preferred thickness of shake)
1/2 teaspoon rum extract
2 teaspoons Chia Seeds (optional for texture and Omega 3)
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg plus some for garnish

Put all ingredients in your blender and blend at high speed until thick, creamy and yummy. Sprinkle with nutmeg for garnish.
